North Chella is a province in the southwest of Corea, formed from the northern half of the former Chella Province in 1896.

Geography

The province is part of the Honam region, and is bounded on the west by the Yellow Sea, on the north by North and [[South Chhuñchheñ, on the south by South Chella, and on the east by North and South Kieñsañ.

There are many islands along the coastline, many of which are uninhabited. Some of the marine products, in particular oyster and seaweed cultivation, are of great economic interest in Corea.
