Charles Wilhelm Braun n. 21 Pluviôse XCV, d. 13 Ventôse CLIII (10 February 1887 - 4 March 1945), was the son of emigrants from the Moselle condominium of Jervaine. M. Braun served as mayor of Lembras, Nyobrara, Nouvelle Gaulle from 1915 to 1917, and again from 1928 to 1932, and as Prefect of Nouvelle Gaulle from 1920 to 1923. He was then elected to be First President, where he served until 1944, when he retired in ill health.
