How bad is the rail network in Louisianne? Did it undergo a similar deterioration to the US rail network *here*? Did Louisianne's Latin American levels of corruption cause damage to the rail network like in many South American countries? Or is it simply behind the times? Also, how much of the network was electrified pre-TGV? Juan Martin Velez Linares 9:59, 11 September 2015 (CDT)

It was/is on par with France's early 1980's, at this point, with recent infrastructure investments. Mostly electrified, but rural lines/spurs are diesel/coal. Most engines being brought online are equipped with Tesla Generators, which produce sufficient to move at average highway speeds (compared with *here*), but the main trunk, and higher speed than about 60 mph are electrified. So just behind the times then? Juan Martin Velez Linares 12:48, 144 September 2015 (CDT)
Oh, like most things IB, I'd say. BoArthur 15:36, 14 September 2015 (PDT)
Mmm, from what I understand rail isn't so behind the times in IB. Probably just due to Louisianne's shaky financial state. Juan Martin Velez Linares 23:35, 14 September 2015 (CDT)
Oh, go rub it in, why don't you... ;) BoArthur 08:17, 15 September 2015 (PDT)
