Official Languages

I think English would be official, here, and not Algonquin, only given that the Algonquin were, in large part, not in Minnesota/Wisconsin/Michigan. BoArthur 14:24, 22 September 2015 (PDT)

I simply wrote Algonquin because it's pretty widely alluded to on various NAL-related articles, although I think it was being used as a synonym for Ojibwe/Anishinaabe in those cases. To be perfectly honest, I'm also not too big of a fan of making every province in the NAL (even a lot of the non-English ones) English-speaking, since it seems to be creating the exact cultural monolith that the NAL at least appeared to be the opposite of. Maybe English is just used in the various provinces like Hindi is in India *here*--official, but the co-official language is the main spoken one. I'd honestly prefer that idea. Seeing how Zahir is on the wiki at the moment, maybe we can get his 2 pence on how English the NAL is. Juan Martin Velez Linares 17:33, 22 September 2015 (CDT)
