Is this city intended to be the capital of Oregon?
- I don't think so, a capital so far inland seems illogical when the bulk of the people are in the Portland-Vancouver corridor. Still it's weird that the Oregon page doesn't list a capital. It's a country that definitely needs a little loving care. Benkarnell 06:12, 1 May 2020 (PDT)
- Maybe Oregon has a rotating capital city, moving between Seattle, Portland, Vancouver & Viridian City every few years. That kind of situation happened *here* in the early days of the US and the Province of Canada.--Marc pasquin 07:24, 1 May 2020 (PDT)
- That makes sense, except that I think that instead of Seattle, Portland, and Vancouver you would have Olympia, Salem, and Victoria. It fits in very well with the idea that Oregon functions differently from its neighbors in that it is relatively decentralized. --Gwaell 10:55, 1 May 2020 (PDT)
