Post Road 51 connects Lafayette in Louisianne with Chicago.

Route Description

PR-51 begins on the Louisianne border from Louisianne NR-15 running concurrent with PR-91. PR-51 continues through Port Gibson where PR-91 splits off west to Mobile City, where PR-51 intersects PR-80. PR-51 continues north, concurrent with PR-91, to Tenisi. PR-91 ends and PR-51 intersects PR-70. PR-51 continues through Tenisi and Kentucky to Illinoise. It passes through Desmond and continues northeast to St. Louis. In St. Louis, PR-51 interchanges with PR-40, PR-50, PR-66, and PR-91. PR-51 passes through into Ouisconsin. In Ouisconsin, it begins running concurrent with PR-6 in Creve Coeur. PR-51 and PR-6 continue northeast to Chicago, where they intersect with PR-30. PR-51 ends at an interchange with PR-10 and PR-41.
