You should list these as Category:Famous Persons, Carlos BoArthur

Well, given tha *here* not all rulers are Famous Persons outside their realms and their times... I have just seen a new category of World Leaders... not that I am too convinced, but I could go through my pages. Carlos Th.

Motion for Revamp

I think we should go through the list of "Famous Persons" and relocate them to world leaders and just plain "Category:People" if they're not so famous. BoArthur

I think that the category itself should be reserved for individuals not in one of the subcategories. E.g., Benedict Arnold should only be in Category:Famous Persons Nik 22:30, 5 January 2006 (PST)

Thirded. And besides, I think we shouldn't exaggerate with those categories. As far as I am concerned, creating subcategories is something that should be done only when the parent category gets too big, or when there is a very strong logical reason to create it. But in general, I still am convinced that we should avoid trying to make everything look like Wikipedia.

And indeed, we should decide what to do with the Famous Persons Page. I have a feeling that it is merely a remnant from the Old Wiki, which didn't allow categories, and that we don't really need it anymore.
