SANTO DOMINGO, Republic of Florida-Caribbea — An historic operation was performed Friday in the Dominican Republic on a bicephalic infant. Bicephaly is a condition where an organism, in this case a human, develops a second head. The surgery was designed to remove the second head, which has a partially formed brain, ears, eyes and lips.
