The Louisiannan Census Bureau was created shortly after the French Revolution to maintain records of the population of Louisianne. While the original censuses were not completed every ten years for the first half-century, they have been completed regularly for the whole of the 20th Century. The next scheduled census is due in 2012. (an CCXX).
