Talk:Pioneering Spirit

This article says that this is the "attitude of most western cultures". What exactly does that mean? America only? Or does it include Europe as well? Keep in mind that Scandinavia and some South American countries have the Jante's Law attitude - which is in many respects the complete opposite of the pioneering spirit attitude. Yet, to my mind, both the cultures of Scandinavia and South America are "Western". Boreanesia 23:49, 7 Feb 2005 (PST)
