Contributions are welcome -- here's what I see happening:

  1. The Ancients are revealed as the Eldren
  2. They are revealed to have retreated from our dimension because of the Ullahs.
  3. Now that the Ullahs have been beaten back somewhat, the Ancients or Eldren wish to return and assert their control over the Antilles Cluster and the wider galaxy
  4. There is a peace faction in the Eldren, but somewhat bound by some cultural block.
  5. The series season 1 culminates in Sarukai, Birko and Jimmy breaking the transdimensional tether that connects the Eldren Outposts to theirs.
  6. The break strands some of the ancients of each side in our dimension.
  7. The Outpost is discovered to be somewhat of an O'Neill Cylinder with a wide, habitable region inside.
