I have written a longer article on Fiji once but, unfortunately, I deleted it before posting it. This is a shorter summary of that article. Flag

In keeping with the POD, the flags I designed are based on the one the Brookes *here* for the Kingdom of Sarawak [1]. When the Thakombao's dynasty took control *there*, they replaced the cross with a symbol that represents a bure kalou, a traditional Fijian temple [2].
