Talk:Andean Pact
I very much enjoy this proposal and appreciate the work you have done to expand so many articles like this in IB. My only concern here, unless it has been already resolved, is that you have overwritten a flag that was accepted as QSS with your own flag without providing an internal-historical explanation as to why the flag changed. I think that this could be easily resolved by a number of ways. One way is to say that both the checkerboard and the sword flags are used concurrently but in different cases; maybe the sword flag is preferable when flown at a distance or blazoned, but the checkerboard flag is preferable when at a large scale or viewed at a close range. Another way is to say that the checkerboard flag was the official flag when the Pact was first signed, but then some time after that it was changed for practical reasons.
In addition, I compared the image of the sword flag with your notes about it, and it seems that they do not exactly match up. The notes record a field of green being present on the bottom of the flag, while in the image there is no green. Would you be able to clarify?
