The practice of contacting and communicating with spirits and the ghosts of the dead. Very common practice in the NAL and urban parts of England and Kemr in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. General Moderator Abram Lincoln of the NAL (1863-1872) frequently hosted seances at the Octagon House where mediums would channel the wisdom and warnings of historical figures and the greetings of the near and dear departed.
