- GEORGETOWN — In recent months there have been several moderate outbreaks of Tuberculosis in the Georgetown and Alexandria (Virginia) regions. In order to stem this tide, the Centres for Disease and Malady Control have asked that citizens in and near the affected areas visit their local Health Bureau for free testing to stop the spread of this highly contagious disease.
