Oaksmobile and Potomack
To be honest, I think that we should change Oaksmobile and Ransom Oaks back to Holmesmobile and Thomas Holmes, just so that CMC ends up a little different from real-life General Motors. Same with the logo. I also think that we should change the Potomack logo back just so it’s not super on-the-nose. Juanmartinvelezlinares 13:39, 12 May 2018 (PDT)
- CMC was since its beginning, back in 2007, heavily inspired in *here's* GM. Most of its brands were more or less comparable to GM ones: Adirondack was based in Cadillac, both Dover and Chevalier had inspiration in Chevrolet, Potomag/Potomack was based in Pontiac, Fauxhall was based in Vauxhall, Frégate (initially called Findley) was a Corvette-inspired marque and more recently Jupiter and Globus were based in Saturn and Geo/Passport/Asüna respectively. Oaksmobile (or Holmesmobile as I called it earlier) was thought as a pun on Oldsmobile name but is closer to Buick in character. Minuit and Anglia have no GM counterparts. I rather keep things this way although I might make some changes to keep bigger distance from GM.--Pedromoderno 01:55, 14 May 2018 (PDT)
