- GJØTEBORG — Several members of the Rigsråd were enraged by Bernstorff's verbal attack on the RTC last Saturday. Venstre opposition leader, Arne Melchior, called Bernstorff's words "the worst form of Jante's Law ever seen in foreign politics. Jante's Law has no place in foreign policy. In a time when we need friends, not enemies, we cannot and must not let our misfortunes dictate how we feel about the fortunes of other countries, let alone a coalition partner and a fellow neutralist state like the RTC."
