Louisianne-Les Plaines Signed Language (sometimes known as simply Louisianne Signed Language) is a signed language related to the NAASL group. It is descended from Old French Sign Language, with significant influences from Plains Indian Sign Language. Some of the PISL signs have since been borrowed into NAASL, especially signs for tribes, and some place-names.
