Sorry, why the change? BoArthur 11:24, 14 October 2015 (PDT)

Just trying to clean up contradictions and the like. The whole area seems to be provisional, but some parts seem to be semi-QSS. Is Kuke an island that is Not The Cook Islands? Because if it is the Cook Islands, then I think we need to figure out its status. Perhaps a Fijian-Aotearoan condominium? Juan Martin Velez Linares 16:08, 14 October 2015 (CDT)
I'd bring that up on Conculture - Padraic and others were more aware of that area of the world than I. Good catch, though. We need to all be telling the same story, after all. I'd point them out, first, and let the involved weigh in on conculture first, though. Saves you the trouble of reverting. Chances are, if no one responds, Padraic'll tell you to have at the contradictions. BoArthur 15:42, 14 October 2015 (PDT)
The entire thing is very contradictory, yeah. Most of the central Pacific is simultaneously listed as both one single Fijian dependency, and as a group of monarchies under Aotearoan protection. My QSS map from 2007 illustrates the contradictions. Colors represented states that were absolutely QSS. Boxes meant defined borders, circles meant the borders were unclear. Grey meant that a nation was possibly in violation of QSS but maybe there was a way to work them in. I do think that Augustinias wrote about Fijian Polynesia before Marc created his flags for Kuke, et cetera. Marc's work mostly amounted to flags. But I really like his flags, that's why I avoided making a final judgment call. I do believe he has said that he would not fight it if his work was found to be non-QSS. But the flags... so cool... I always thought that there are too many condominia *there*, like if politiacians *there* were more capable than *here* to find more peaceful solutions to draw the world map. As both Fiji and Aotearoa are CoN members I don't disagree to a Cook Islands condominium but on the other hand other solution could be partioning Cook Islands in a aotearoan dependency and a fijian dependency, based on its Northern and Southern groups.--Pedromoderno 03:43, 2 November 2015 (PST)
