Is the Yucatán part of Mejico *there*, or is it a separate Protectorate, part of Chiapas, a distinct nation or something else? I ask because *here*, the Yucatán declared independance several times, and on one occassion the native Mayans rebelled, attempting to throw out the Europeans Nik 14:04, 16 Feb 2005 (PST)
- Well, I have not thought about it. AFAIK, nobody has propossed an independent Yucatan, so it might be part of Mejico, Chiapas, Central America, former Florida Caribbea, NAL, or independent.
- For the time being I have assumed Mejico. It might be another Castilian Protectorade, also.
