Religion in Dalmatophone Africa

Correct me if I'm wrong, but Dalmatia is evenly split between Latin & Dalmatian Catholicism, with the former being a unique rescension of the Byzantine Rite (Eastern Catholic, Uniate, the confusing Greek Catholic, etc). Because Dalmatia colonized great swathes of subsaharan Africa, it would follow that missionaries went along with the state (or even before it). Therefore, if Dalmatian missionaries were active in the Congo River basin & Niger Valley area, there could potentially be a huge population of Uniates in West Africa in numbers not seen anywhere in our world. I feel like this is worth mentioning on each ex-Dalmatian African country's page, & perhaps even on the Catholicism page. Misterxeight 22:21, 29 September 2015 (PDT)
