Islam is quite a bit less potent in IB than in the primary world, particularly in Persia (where Zoroastrianism predominates), the Levant (where it shares dominance with Judaism, various forms of Eastern Christianity, and the Druze religion), Central Asia (where it shares dominance with Assyrian Christianity and Zoroastrianism), and especially Southeast Asia (which is dominated by Hinduism and Buddhism, as well as Christianity in Bornei-Filipinas; the Muslim minority is mainly reduced to Atjeh as well as trading communities among the Malay Peninsula).
