History

For the most part, the armed forces are the de-facto continuation of the armed forces of the pre unified city states. The army for example, is based off Sparta's superior land forces which is why the base of operations and the like are in Sparti, Laconia,Greek Navy has its HQ in Piraeus, Attiki, and the Royal Guard in Konstantinoplis. Then again new branches such as the air force, are in the capital, and the 32nd Marines Brigade is stationed all over the South Aegean peripheries, as it is the roughly between Peloponnesos & Attiki.
