One of the two third-level college federations, the other being Ollscoil na hÉireann.
Initially founded in 1970, the ANE is a federation of vocational colleges whose curriculum centres around Science, Engineering and Technology, but also covers Business and Accounting, Art and Design, Music, Catering, and the Military and Naval Sciences.
